Vulfpeck Album Box Set

Vulfpeck is a funk and rhythm band founded in 2011 in Ann Arbor, MI. The band consists of four constant members while frequently collaborating with numerous artists of the same/similar genres. The band aims for a simple and minimal sound where each instrument contributes and does not dominate.

Vulfpeck is one of my favorite bands, and for this project I combined four of their albums and designed a complete album box set, which included a catalog, album/box packaging, and other bips and bops for merch. This project combined layout design, packaging, and a bit of identity design to carry a theme throughout the whole piece.

I tried my best to capture the energy and vibe of the band, but I also wanted to make sure I included my own thoughts and interpretations through the designs as well. I tried to visualize the energy and fun of the music through the typography, and the warmth and nostalgia in the colors and photography.
